Newspaper Billboard analysis 1

The text is large, bold and black causing

it to be eye-catching or stand out the people

Title in red stands out so it isn’t part of the story.

The white background of the poster has contrast

with the black font this makes it stand out

more rather than a coloured back ground

Advertisement at the bottom of the poster about

Evening standard, which is the name of the news paper,

this in a blue background, this matches the top

skyline of the poster.

For the three subsidiary tasks i must choose two to do out of them:

• A billboard poster for the newspaper
• A radio advertisement for the newspaper
• Two hyperlinked pages from the paper's website.

Out of the three i have decided to choose the first bulletpoint and the third bulletpoint, these are to create a billboard poster and to make two hyperlinked pages from the newspaper's website.

For our A2 work we must choose 1 brief from 14 briefs in total. The brief i have decided to choose is brief 8.

Brief 8
The first two pages of an original local newspaper (if done as group task, each member of the group to produce an individual edition of the newpaper, following the same house style), together with two of the following three options:

• a billboard poster for the newspaper;
• a radio advertisement for the newpaper;
• two hyperlinked pages from the paper's website.
